Workshop held under the project “Enhancing the Social Protection and Inclusion System for Children in BiH (SPIS)”

Today in Sarajevo, under the slogan “For every child”, preparatory workshop was held under the project “Enhancing the Social Protection and Inclusion System for Children in BiH (SPIS).” The workshop brought together partners from the government, local communities and civil society in order to enhance the social protection and inclusion of children.

As part of this project in Teslić a workshops was held for municipalities from Republic of Srpska and District Brcko on 23rd and 24th February, and today’s workshop is designed for municipalities in the Federation BiH.

Project “Enhancing the Social Protection and Inclusion System for Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is a joint project of the EU and UNICEF. The EU has funded this project since 2008, from the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) in the amount of 4.1 million EUR. The project aims to help build systems that will ensure adequate social protection policies and social protection and social Inclusion of children and families.
