The conference „Digitalization yesterday, today, tomorrow“ held in Sarajevo

The Conference „Digitalization yesterday, today, tomorrow“ was held in Sarajevo today. It was organised by the Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the regional project „SEE Digi.TV“. The project is co-financed by the European Union in the amount of 88,252.66EUR from Instrument for the Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) in the framework of the Transnational Cooperation Programme for South East Europe

Head of Operations Section for the Social Development, Civil Society and Cross Border Cooperation of the EU Delegation to BiH, Natalia Dianiskova, congratulated the BiH Communications Regulatory Agency and said that this event will mark the beginning of BiH’s full fledged partnership within the regional South-East European Digital Television project.

Ms Dianiskova stated: “BiH Communications Regulatory Agency being the key regulatory authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will strive to achieve the maximum possible result related to joining of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the process of harmonization of the legal, economic and technical aspect of the digital switchover process, as well as to contribute to creation of expected necessary framework for harmonized process of the digitalization in the South-East Europe region.”

The aim of the project is harmonisation of legal, economic and technical aspects of digitalisation process in the South East Europe region with the EU, thus preventing fragmentation of policies, technologies and markets. Beside Bosnia and Herzegovina,  Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Albania, Austria, Italy and Hungary participate in the project.
