Basileus V scholarships announced

Ghent University (Belgium) and the University of Novi Sad are coordinating an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project called Basileus V, a mobility project for academic exchange between the Western Balkans and the EU. The fifth edition of this EU-funded project  is offering 270 scholarships for different categories of students and staff. Students and staff members of non-partner universities and students who graduated from any university in the Western Balkans can apply for a scholarship for Master, PhD, Postdoc and Staff mobility. Bachelor exchange mobility is not eligible with non-partner universities.

The project offers mobility to the following EU universities: Ghent University, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, the University of Heidelberg, ATEI Thessaloniki, the University of Rome La Sapienza, the University of Ljubljana, the University of Deusto and Lund University.

The project is open to nationals from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo*.

Interested candidates can apply online until 2 February 2014 at www.basileus.ugent.be. Mobility should then start in autumn 2014 (except for staff).
