Reform and restructuring of big public industrial companies in BiH has been less effective in comparison to other countries in the Western Balkans region. Out of several thousand that were active before the war, only a few are now on the market and producing goods. One of the concrete measures defined by the Compact for Growth and Jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina refers to the industrial sector and the need for reconstruction of large enterprises.
