PDHR Speaks on Corporate Governance in
Luka
As we speak, Principal Deputy High Representative,
Donald Hays is holding a press conference in Banja Luka with RS Prime
Minister Dragan Mikerevic and RS Supreme Auditor Bosko Ceko to publicise the
measures being taken in order to clean up corporate governance and ensure that
public companies are run for the benefit of the public and not for the benefit
of a small number of dishonest managers.
The press conference will address the widespread fraud and incompetence
uncovered by the audits of Srpske Sume, and the steps that the government has
already taken, and will take over the coming months, to address specific
problems at the company and systemic problems throughout the public
sector.
