Regional conference on the importance development of innovations in BiH

Regional conference “Institutions and innovation support measures” was held on 14 February in Banja Luka. The conference was organised by the EU funded project “Institutional capacity development of the three innovation centres and research sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina (INOVO)”, Ministry of Science and Technology of Republika Srpska and Innovation Centre Banja Luka (ICBL).

Bosnia and Herzegovina included in the MeteoAlarm system

As of 19 February, Bosnia and Herzegovina is included in the official web page of the MeteoAlarm. MeteoAlarm is a system which gives timely warnings about potentially dangerous weather conditions for 650 regions for 12 different conditions issued by hydro-meteorological services from 34 European countries.

More news reports to bring more EU information to BiH's citizens

The Office of the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) in partnership with all the public broadcasters in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and a group of news web portals across the country have launched a special programme of media reports that aims to inform citizens of the country about the impact of the European integration process on issues of topical interest and quality of life, today and in the future.

Progress of FYROM, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013

EU leaders must show more commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina, set a date for starting EU accession talks with the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and continue the talks with Montenegro, provided reforms are sustained, said MEPs in resolutions passed on 6 February.
