The Green Plan emphasizes that the ecological transition for Europe will be fully effective only if the countries of the region embark on an energy transition.
Through the Green Agenda, the EU will help BiH build renewable energy choices as painlessly as possible, in order to go through the process of energy transition for the sake of the future generations.
To this end, the EU has adopted a comprehensive Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans, which anticipates the EU funding of 9 billion euros in grants for key investments, including accelerating the green transition.
