Public Call for Expression of Interest for Implementation of Employment Support Program through Public Works in 2018

Within the project “Local Integrated Development” (LID), which is primarily funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BiH), a public call for expressions of interest for implementation of employment support programs is published through public works for long-term unemployed and socially vulnerable categories of population. As part of the public call for expressions of interest in 2018, the “Local Integrated Development” (LID) project will support 5 best projects to provide short-term financial contributions for 150 people for a period of 4 months. Following local self-government units have a right to participate: Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Čelinac, Doboj, Domaljevac-Šamac, Gradiška, Maglaj, Modriča, Novi Grad, Odžak, Prijedor, Šamac, Tuzla, Vareš and Živinice. The local self-government units may submit proposals for employment support programs through public works either individually or in partnership with the Employment Bureau and/or the Center for Social Work within the local self-government unit. Filled form of proposals, budget and supporting documentation must be submitted in one (1) original and one (1) copy in A4 format (bound). Also, complete project documentation (in zip format) should be submitted in electronic form, on CD, or USB Stick.

The envelope should indicate the name of the public call for expressions of interest: “Invitation to local self-government units to express interest in implementing employment support programs through public works for long-term unemployed and socially vulnerable population categories supported by the” Local Integrated Development “Project in 2018“. Furthermore, the envelope must also indicate the full name and address of the applicant, and emphasize the following: “DO NOT OPEN BEFORE THE OFFICIAL OPENING”.

Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope by registered post, courier mail or personally (signed and dated certificate will be given to the person who personally submits the application) to the following address:

Project proposals submitted by other means (e.g. via fax or email) will not be considered. The deadline for submitting project proposals is by Friday, February 2nd 2018, until 17:00h, confirming the date on the delivery note, the postmark or the receipt. Project proposals can be submitted personally. A proposal filed after the expiry of the deadline will not be considered. All additional questions regarding this call can be delivered by email at latest within 7 days before the deadline for submission of applications, with a clearly named name in the message subject, at the following e-mail address:registry.ba@undp.org.
