Deputy Head of the EU Delegation Khaldoun Sinno visited Municipality of Bužim on 24 May. On this occasion, Deputy Head Sinno met with Mayor of Bužim Zikrija Duraković, to discuss the local development priorities including challenges and future plans, focusing especially on the effects of the Reform Agenda at the local level.

During the visit, Sinno also met  with representatives of local business communities, stressing that private sector growth and competitiveness are crucial for improvements in the socio-economic field, and this in turn ultimately benefits the citizens. He visited Kov-Grad Company department for tyre rethreading , cow farm and facilities owned by Samir Duranović and Vrganj  Promet Bužim berry-fruit production.

Sinno also visited the Centre for culture, sport and information, met with the director Mersudin Nanic and talked with the youth of Bužim, stressing that the  future of young people was in the EU, but also that the responsibility lied with them.
