Ambassador Wigemark meets with government and NGO representatives in Banja Luka

Head of EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, held a series of meetings in Banja Luka today.

Among others, Ambassador Wigemark met with the Republika Srpska Entity Prime Minister, Željka Cvijanović, a group of NGO representatives, as well as representatives of the media.

During the meetings, it was emphasised that the reforms need to continue in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the example of regulating the price of pharmaceuticals being highlighted as something which will have real impact on the lives of people.

At the meeting with NGO representatives, Ambassador Wigemark also emphasised the importance of the role of the NGO sector in the process of EU integration.
