In Mostar, EUSR to host second Business Leadership Conference

Under the slogan „One step at a time”, the EU Special Representative Office in BiH will hold the second in a series of six Business Leadership Conferences in Mostar on 23 November 2016.

The Conferences focus on success stories in business sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and discuss how socio-economic issues affect the business opportunities, growth of companies and economic development. It is expected that representatives of business community, local governments, NGOs, academia also discuss challenges and opportunities at the local business environment in the context of the approaching the European markets.

The first Conference was held in Tuzla, and after Mostar conferences will also take place in Bijeljina, Bihać, Banja Luka and Sarajevo. In addition to presenting the information on the position of local, the panels will also include topics important for BiH progress towards the European Union. The established experts from BiH and the region will present interesting facts on companies that successfully operate or export to the European Union, on challenges they face and answer questions about organizational capacities that are necessary for enterprises and governments to access the EU market and explain how EU funds stimulate economic development in their countries.

Matt Field, Head of Political Department at the Office of the EU Special Representative in BiH, will open the conference, while the key note speakers are: Ivan Jurilj (Redah), Ivana Perković (N:Soft) Valentina Visković (N Home), Dijana Marić (Violeta), Marin Jozić (COX4), Maid Ljubović (Ministry of Economy, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton), Erol Mujanović (Economic expert), Sandro Mur (Bellabeat), Tomislav Grubišić (Degordijan), Jasmin Fajkić (MobiFit).
