EUSR hosts Business Leadership Conference in Tuzla on 14 November

Under the slogan “Korak po korak” (One step at a time), the EU Special Representative Office in BiH will hold a series of Business Leadership Conferences which will focus on success stories in business sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and discuss how socio-economic issues affect business opportunities, growth of companies and economic development. It is expected that representatives of business community, local governments, NGOs, academia also discuss challenges and opportunities at the local business environment in the context of the approaching the European markets.

Business Leadership Conferences will take place in six cities: Tuzla, Mostar, Bijeljina, Bihać, Banja Luka and Sarajevo. In addition to presenting the information on position of local markets, the conferences will discuss topics important for BiH’s European integration process. Renowned experts from BiH and the region will present interesting facts on companies that successfully operate or export to the European Union, on challenges they face and answer the questions about organizational capacities that are necessary for enterprises and governments to access the EU market and explain how EU funds stimulate economic development in their countries.
