Workshop for young members from political parties: “Youth, Reforms and the Internet”

Building up on the last year’s initiative, the European Union Special Representative Office once again created the opportunity for young members from political parties from across BiH to actively engage in open dialogue on the Reform Agenda and crucial reforms that BiH is facing on its European path. It gathered more than 30 representatives from 16 political parties at the workshop “Youth, Reforms and the Internet” in Teslić, from 21 to 23 June 2016.

In plenary sessions the participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the key aspects of BiH’s EU integration process and Reform Agenda, and to directly engage in the open dialogue with Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and the EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark.

Having in mind the importance of social media in everyday communication among young people, the workshop also aimed to increase their knowledge and practical skills in online political campaigning. Special focus was given to placing positive messages regarding the EU integration process and the Reform Agenda, particularly with issues such as better business environment, rule of law, public administration reform, and improvement of connection between education and labour market.
