Congratulating the anniversary, Ambassador Wigemark praised the good practices in Brčko District as models for co-operation, co-existence and coordination not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but across the region.

The European Union will continue to work closely with the authorities and citizens of Brčko District. We attach great importance to this. I pay tribute to her pioneering work“, Ambassador Wigemark said.

In meetings with Brčko Mayor Anto Domić, the District officials and representatives of political parties, Ambassador Wigemark discussed the important role of the District in European integration of the country, and called for maintaining the good spirit of co-operation and the efforts in the reforms’ implementation.
