Climate Change Dialogue in BiH to open on 5 November

More than 100 students from across Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather on 5 and 6 November 2015 in Sarajevo during the expert event ‘Climate Change Dialogue in BiH’. The event is organised by the Delegation of the European Union/EU Special Representative in BiH (EUD/EUSR), the Embassy of Sweden, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and RENEXPO.

In the run-up to the 2015 Conference of Parties in Paris (COP21), the Climate Change Dialogue aims to increase public understanding and concern for the impacts and threats caused by climate change. It will provide an opportunity to gain scientific and technical knowledge by participating in training sessions and panel discussions, and expert insight through contacts with representatives of leading companies in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and innovation. The Programme will also include a discussion with EU Member States’ Ambassadors, and site visits in Sarajevo and Zenica.

The agenda of the two-day programme can be found here.
