Info Day: ‘Financing projects from EU funds: What opportunities does the Horizon 2020 offer?’

The Resource Centre of the Centre for Civil Society Promotion (CCSP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the National Contact Point system of BiH, is organizing an Info Day on the topic ‘Financing projects from EU funds: ‘What opportunities does the EU programme Horizon 2020 offer?’, in Sarajevo (Gradačačka bb), on 16 October 2015 at 10h15.

Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever, with nearly 80 billion Euros of funding available until 2020. By paying the so-called “entry ticket”, BiH institutions and organizations gained the opportunity of equal participation in the programme.

The Info Day is organized with the goal of presenting the Horizon 2020 programme, and increasing understanding of application procedures to enable easier access to funding. The participants will get basic information about the possibilities for participation, financial procedures of the programme, different roles that project partners can have, and ways of identifying project partners.

The Info Day is open to everyone interested in the Horizon 2020 programme, i.e. civil society organizations, business sector, government, academic and research institutions, individual researchers and other research and innovation-related institutions. Civil society organizations with research capacity are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Info Day will be led by leading experts in Horizon 2020 programme: Ammar Miraščija, the National NCP coordinator from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, Dalibor Drljača, NCP for Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) and European Research Infrastructures (ERIs), Europrojekt centar Banja Luka, and Đorđe Markez, National Contact Point for Legal and Financial Aspects, Joint Research Centre, from the University of Banja Luka.

The Resource Centre of the Centre for Civil Society Promotion (CCSP) invites all interested parties to apply by submitting an online application HERE, by 14 October 2015 (15h00).

There is no participation fee. The organizers are not able to bear the costs of transport and accommodation of the participants.
