Seminar held for BiH government coordinators for public consultation

On Wednesday 8 June 2011, the Cidi project „Capacity building of civil society to take part in policy dialogue in Bosnia and Herzegovina“, financed by the European Union, held a seminar for BiH government coordinators for public consultation in the premises of the European Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo.

Guest presenters at the seminar were Mr Niko Grubešić, Assistant Minister, BiH Ministry of Justice, and Mrs Vesna Lendić Kasalo, Head of the Department of General Programmes and Strategy, Croatian Government Office for NGOs. They presented participants with information about the BiH Consultation Rules, forms for use during the consulation process, the public consultation process that took place during the development of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy, and the public consultation process in Croatia (legal institional framework, experiences and lessons learned).

21 participants from the BiH Council of Ministers attended the seminar, including representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Economic Relations and the Ministry of Security.
