The European Commission Delegation to BiH published a translation of “Let’s Explore Europe” to coincide with Europe Day celebrations. The publication targets children aged 9-12 and was first distributed to the schools participating in the children’s at the concert on 9 May 2007.

“Let’s Explore Europe” was first released in 2005 by the EU Publication’s Office.

It tells the story of Europe simply and clearly, with interesting facts and colourful illustrations. It gives a lively overview of Europe and explains briefly what the European Union is and how it works. Each chapter is linked to an online quiz and games on the europa-go website: currently, these are only available in the official languages of the EU.

The translated version will now allow the children of BiH to have a source of information appropriate for their age group. It is accessible in electronic format in the Publications section of this website–and will soon be available in the EU Info Centres in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar and Brcko.
