All media are invited to the presentation of the EU funded Project “Development of New Accreditation Schemes in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which will take place on

Thursday, 19 January 2012 starting at 11:00hrs,

in the ‘EU House’ (EU Delegation to BiH/EUSR), Skenderija 3a, Sarajevo.

The overall objective of this Technical Assistance is to strengthen the BiH quality infrastructure by further development of credible accreditation system services as a basis for international trade facilitation, economic growth and export market competitiveness for the BiH industries and manufacturers. The project purpose is providing support to the Institute for Accreditation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in development of new credible and internationally recognisable schemes in the area of accreditation of medical laboratories, product certification, quality and environment management systems certification, personnel certification, lift inspection bodies, as well as training personnel for their implementation, and improvement of BATA´s information system and web site.

“Development of New Accreditation Schemes in Bosnia and Herzegovina” project is financed by the European Union from the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA 2009) to the tune of 700,000.00 Euro. The project is implemented by a consortium lead by Hulla & Co Human Dynamics in partnership with SWEDAC, Anrika Quality Services AB and AETS.
