Commenting on developments today in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, EUD/EUSR spokesman Andy McGuffie said:

“We welcome today’s adoption of the State Aid law and the Census law by the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are crucial for the next steps of the country on its EU integration path.

“Now it is important that the procedure for the formation of the new Council of Ministers is quickly completed, and that progress is made on implementing the European Court of Human Rights ruling in the ‘Sejdic-Finci’ case. We also urge relevant institutions to find agreement on the budgets, including the budget for 2012 and on the global fiscal framework.”
