As part of the People 2 People (P2P) programme, an open invitation for the participation of representatives of civil society organizations in the study visit under the name of Empowering of persons with disabilities in intellectual development has been sent. The study visit will be held from 17 – 20 April 2012, in Brussels.

All organizations interested in participating are asked to send their applications until 18 March 2012 at 12:00 h by e-mail: p2p.ba@tacso.org 

People 2 People Programme (P2P) supports visits to EU institutions and bodies in exchanges  experience, know-how and good practices between beneficiaries, EU and Member States civil society organisations (CSOs)

The P2P Programme covers the following candidate countries and potential candidates to EU accession: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo*, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey as well as Iceland.

Since the beginning of the P2P Programme more than 1000 representatives of CSOs have participated in more than 30 P2P Programme study tours, interacting on topics such as agriculture and rural development, the role of civil society in EU policy making, women in business, intercultural dialogue, social dialogue and employment policy, climate change and renewable energies, people with disabilities, youth, organised crime and corruption etc.
