Head of Delegation of the European Union and EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, visited today the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, where he met with Chairman of the Committee, Izet Radja, and Vice President of the Committee, Sinisa Kisic.
One of the topics was the participation of representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Olympics, which will this year be held in London. Welcoming the announcement that seven athletes from Bosnia travels to London, Ambassador Sorensen said: “I wish all the best to the athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Olympic Games in London. I hope that we will, upon their return, celebrate the first medal won by the BiH at the Olympics. “
After the meeting and accompanied by the leadership of the BiH Olympic Committee, Ambassador Sorensen visited the Olympic Museum in Sarajevo.
