European Union Special Representative’s Office Announces Vacancies, Reinforcement

13 new employment vacancies for national staff are today announced by the Office of the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and advertised in national media.

The vacancies signal a reinforcement of the EUSR’s activities and presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Staff for a range of different functions are sought for the headquarters in Sarajevo as well as for EUSR offices in Brcko, Banja Luka and Mostar.

The EU Special Representative/Head of the Delegation of the European Union, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, said:

“The European Union is an active and committed partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina as we work in partnership to realise the country’s EU membership perspective. This reinforcement of my office, to help us interact more frequently with authorities and partners in the country, underlines the strength of the commitment of the Member States and EU institutions.

“I would like to encourage all those who believe they are qualified to apply for these positions.”
