Daviddi: Eight million euro for support to accession process

“The European Union has, and will continue to put very significant resources and instruments in place to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina to move forward, towards EU membership”, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation, Renzo Daviddi, said yesterday in Sarajevo. Dr Daviddi was addressing participants of the conference ‘The Role of Parliaments in the European Integration Process – Constitutional and Legal Changes’, organised by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the OSCE.
Dr Daviddi announced that eight million Euro has been allocated in IPA 2012-2013 for  the project  ‘Enhancing capacity of parliaments in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the context of EU accession’, which will help legislative institutions in BiH to adopt the EU Acquis, the accumulated legislation, legal acts, and court decisions which constitute the body of European Union law, and total over 100,000 pages.
