The plenary session of the EU–BiH Structured Dialogue on Justice commenced in Brcko today. Chairman of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Working Group on Judiciary and Internal Affairs, Mr Bakir Dautbasic, and the European Commission Director for Western Balkans, Mr Pierre Mirel, co-chair a two-day meeting between the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For the fourth time, representatives of the judiciary institutions and ministries of justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina and EU officials meet in plenary session to discuss various issues related to the judiciary and crucial for the entrenchment of the rule of law in the country. Participants are engaged in a thorough discussion.
Meeting will continue tomorrow. Two co-chairs, Mr Dautbasic and Mr Mirel, will address media at 12.30 hrs on Tuesday about the main outcome and perspectives.
