The Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in BiH, Dr. Renzo Daviddi, together with the Ambassador of the Netherlands, H.E. Jurriaan Kraak, visited Prijedor on Thursday, 15 May 2014.
Dr. Daviddi and the EU diplomats met with the Mayor of Prijedor, Marko Pavic, and the City Assembly Speaker, Sead Jakupovic, and discussed currents affairs in the Municipality.
On the occasion, Dr. Daviddi said:
“Local communities need to build a European dimension into their work, in order to bring Europe closer to its citizens and to better involve them in major EU issues by providing accurate, sound and timely information. I would like to congratulate you for having succeeded in attracting investments in this area and I hope that this trend will continue.”
Dr. Daviddi and the EU diplomats also met with representatives of returnees’ NGOs from Prijedor, attended a handing in ceremony of the IPA-funded Vocational Education Training project in the Agriculture high school and visited the food factory ‘Mira’.
