Public call for participating in rehabilitation of small agricultural production through EU Floods Recovery Programme

Through its Economic Recovery component, EU Floods Recovery Programme will award grants to individuals who have sustained property damage as a result of floods in May 2014 with the aim of recovering their economic standing in selected local governments (Maglaj, Odžak, Domaljevac-Šamac, Orašje, Tuzla, Bijeljina, Šamac, Doboj, Prijedor, Banja Luka and Brčko). The assistance will include funds directly related to individual needs in agriculture and food production sector.

Selected individuals will receive assistance to be allocated according to their identified needs and within available programme funds.
 
Individual amount of eligible grant applications ranges from 500 BAM to 3,000 BAM per individual/household.

Grants provided through the EU Floods Recovery Programme may be used exclusively for the following purposes:
1. Small livestock (total value up to 3,000 BAM, VAT included)
  a. Supply of day-old chicks, broiler chickens for fattening, laying hens and other poultry to establish the base flock.

2. Plant material (total value up to 1,000 BAM, VAT included)
  a. Supply of planting material for vegetable crops (tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, lettuce, etc.) to restore production
  b. Supply of planting material for fruit crops to restore production (strawberries, pickles, raspberry, etc.)

3. Greenhouses up to 100m2 in size (total value up to 2,500 BAM, VAT included)
  a. Supply of greenhouses
  b. Supply of irrigation system

4. Machinery and equipment for agricultural production (total value up to 1,500 BAM, VAT included)
  a. Supply of destroyed and/or damaged equipment
  b. Supply of accessories for agricultural machinery
