A Communication on local Authorities in Development scheduled for early 2013.
The purpose of the stakeholder consultations is to gather views and good practices in relation to themes stemming from the Agenda of Change which put emphasises on strengthening the links between the EU and Local Authorities in partner countries and on mobilizing Local Authorities’ expertise.
The questions introduced in the Issue paper (see link below) mainly represent topics currently at stake in the international arena in relation to the roles that Local Authorities and Associations of Local Authorities can play in matters of governance and development.
Inputs/comments on the basis of the information available at the links below can be sent to the relevant Association of Municipalities and Cities, the RS or the FBiH.
