Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Croatia this Thursday and Friday. In Sarajevo the High Representative will meet with Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She will also visit Srebrenica and at Memorial and Cemetary in Potočari lay a wreath in the memory of the victims of 1995 genocide. In Zagreb Catherine Ashton will meet President Ivo Josipović on Thursday evening and Foreign Minister Vesna Pusić on Friday morning.

The High Representative started her visit to the Western Balkans on Monday with the visit to Montenegro, and from there continued to Albania and former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. She will be briefly back to Brussels on Wednesday for a meeting with Prime Minister Ivica Dačić and Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi.
